An important company dedicated to teaching the English language with an international presence is looking for a SERVICE MANAGER for our next educational center opening in the Punta Carretas/Pocitos area in Montevideo.
As service manager you assume overall responsibility for the delivery of service and educational experience for the students in your center. In essence, you are the ambassador and leader of educational excellence in your center.
As the figure responsible for your students’ educational success and satisfaction throughout their course, you spend much of your time overseeing each function’s activities, according to standard operating procedures. You’ll suggest improvement opportunities when possible, to ensure that levels of service always exceed expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a premium educational experience to students.
- Create an environment where students are motivated to engage with English in-center, online, and in real-life.
- Manage day-to-day service and guarantee smooth operations.
- Guarantee the learning of students through quality control and promoting the Wall Street English method.
- Ensure that standard operating procedure is followed at all times to ensure consistency in terms of global brand.
- Ensure that student satisfaction and learning levels exceed expected benchmarks.
- Promote the Wall Street English method encouraging students to trust it and use it effectively.
- Control educational standards by teaching Encounters, Complementary Classes, Social Club Activities, and Welcome Sessions.
- Drive student community by managing a monthly Social Club calendar.
- Maintain the center’s image and technology assets.
Experience and Background
- Native English
- TESOL, CELTA certification or qualification to provide English classes for adults granted by national or foreign universities
- Excellent presence and treatment
- Teaching experience
- Experience in managing work teams

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 12 to 9 p.m. (with a cut-off time) and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
